Immunology of MS Bitesize Modules

Immunology foundations: Part 1 Innate and acquired immunity

This two-part module introduces some important concepts that form the foundation of our understanding of MS and its treatment. Professor Sheena Cruickshank (Professor in Biomedical Sciences and Public Engagement, University of Manchester) explains the fundamental difference between acquired and innate immunity. Professor Cruickshank then explores autoimmunity, the process that seems to underlie MS and several other common clinical conditions.
